Garrick Sit, O.D.
Dr. Sit received his bachelor's degree from CSULB and ensuing doctorate from the New England College of Optometry in 1994. He completed clinical rotations in Boston, MA and Scottsdale, AZ. Graduating with honors, he was recognized and awarded as the outstanding clinician in his class. Dr. Sit excels in adult/child care and achieves remarkable rapport with his patients. He ensures you will receive the exceptional care you deserve and that all aspects of your ocular health are explained to the fullest.
Dr. Sit has expertise in the fitting of all contact lenses, including astigmatism, bifocals, keratoconus, and overnight corneal reshaping. He has served in clinical studies for Bausch and Lomb. Dr. Sit is therapeutically licensed in the treatment and management of eye disorders and is well-trained in evaluation and co-management of all refractive surgery procedures. |
Dr. Sit was born and raised in San Francisco and has lived in North County San Diego since 1994. He is a member of the California Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association. In his free time, Dr. Sit enjoys spending time with his family playing basketball, golfing, and traveling.
Gina Grasso, O.D
A native Californian, Dr. Grasso received her Bachelor's of Science in Biology from U.C. Riverside and earned her Doctorate from the U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry in 1999. Upon graduation, she was honored to be one of only two graduates chosen by clinical faculty to be offered a Fellowship in Clinical Training. She completed the program and went on to serve as a clinical instructor for U.C. Berkeley optometry students in their final year of training.
Dr. Grasso has extensive experience in the treatment and management of ocular disease, co-management of LASIK and cataract surgery, and specialty contact lens fitting. In addition to her license to practice optometry, she holds certifications to use therapeutic pharmaceuticals, diagnose and treat glaucoma, and perform lacrimal irrigation and dilation. |
She has donated her time extensively at the Lion's Optometric Vision Clinic in San Diego and has worked with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity to provide eyecare services to underserved communities in Peru and Costa Rica. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, gaming, and spending time with her family at their home in Escondido.
